Missing Participants
With Plan Termination and Automatic Rollover (ARO) services, plan fiduciaries can breathe easier knowing that RolloverSystems guides you through your legal and compliance requirements. We understand how each plan’s unique setup requires different procedures and we can shoulder as much (or as little) of that burden as you need.
Missing Participant Locating Services
With our outreach program, we can take additional steps for locating hard-to-reach participants:
- We’ll first reach out to everyone through our standard participant communication, using Experian and National Change of Address Services to find the best address to mail to.
- For those who do not respond, or whose mail is returned to us, we'll attempt to find additional mailing addresses using a more exhaustive participant location search through various national address databases.
- For your records, we will document a second outreach using US Postal Certified Mail with Return Receipt.
- For further searching, RSI will reengage outreach services using any new information provided by the plan sponsor from related plan documents. This may include additional addresses, or beneficiary information.
- Finally, when we still can't locate a participant, we will send required communication to IRS Letter Forwarding services before Plan Termination and Auto Rollover.
