RolloverSystems Named 2004 "Pathfinder" Winner By Metrolina Entrepreneurial Council

Award From Charlotte-Based Entrepreneur's Group Latest Honor For Provider Of 401(k) Rollover Solutions For Employers, Employees

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (January 14, 2004) -- RolloverSystems Inc. is the 2004 winner of the "Pathfinder" award, presented to the Charlotte region's most promising early-stage company by the Metrolina Entrepreneurial Council (MEC).

Reginald Bowser, founder, president and chief executive of RolloverSystems, accepted the award Tuesday at the MEC's "Big Night" award dinner at the Westin Charlotte, where the MEC also unveiled its new name -- the Business Innovation & Growth Council (BIG).

The Pathfinder award is presented annually to the founder of an early-stage company that "shows real promise as an up-and-comer and displays leadership potential," according to the MEC.

"We are honored to receive the Pathfinder Award from the Metrolina Entrepreneurial Council," Bowser said. "This is a tribute to the talent, dedication and perseverance of the entire RolloverSystems team."

Founded in 2001, RolloverSystems introduced in March 2003 the first true one-stop solution for workers seeking a quick, easy, and smart way to roll over their retirement savings from an employer-sponsored 401(k) plan to an Individual Retirement Account (IRA). The proprietary technology allows employees to go to one site, fill out a simple form, and receive multiple Rollover IRA offers from a network of competing financial institutions. The rollover solution is now available through RolloverSystems' own website at www.rollovermarket.com and www.CareerBuilder.com, as well as through employers and e-HR technology partners, including HR XCEL and Exult.

In December 2003, RolloverSystems' unique rollover technology was recognized as a "Top Human Resource Product of 2003" by Human Resource Executive magazine.

To be eligible for the Pathfinder award, companies are required to be based in the greater Charlotte area; be at least one year old; be independently operated; maintain principal management influence from the founding entrepreneur; have a viable market opportunity and be positioned well against its competitors; display potential for market leadership as well as potential to be successful both financially and operationally, and exhibit sound and reasonable use of funds and financial stability.
